It is, as long as the post has 500 comments or fewer. Bigger posts run on credits: 1 credit per comment drawn, bought once in the package size that fits. Credits never expire, and you pay for them once.

Yes. A photo mode post has a comment section like any other TikTok post, and that is all the draw needs. Paste its link into the same box you would use for a video and DrawPicker picks the winners from the comments under the photos.
How can someone check that the result is real?
Every draw gets its own giveaway code. Type that code into the Giveaway Code Check page and the public result page opens: the winners with their comments, the total comment and like counts, and a link to the original post. No account is needed to look it up.
Is there a cap on the number of comments?
No. DrawPicker keeps pulling comments until the post has nothing left to give, so a video with 10 comments and one with 100,000 are handled the same way - the pool is simply bigger.
